How many books are in THE ARRANGEMENT series?

THE ARRANGEMENT series was a fan-driven, which is unlike any other series I've written. When the fans voted for more volumes, more were written. This series concluded with 26 books and is now complete.

My library doesn't have your books? What do I do?

Easy! You can request that their library get the book you'd like to read.

Do you use AI (artificial intelligence)?

I write my stories myself. I imagine my tales, plots, and characters in my human head.

I use AI in an “AI assist” capacity. This means AI does not write nor create my stories. It is restricted to roles that assist me, such as editing, continuity checks, and addressing issues related to dyslexia.

Being a professional author with dyslexia creates many real challenges. My hope is that AI can alleviate some of the difficulties caused by my disability, thereby giving me more time to do what I actually want to do: write new books and stories. I’d prefer to spend my time on creative endeavors.

AI assistance may also be utilized in my cover creation and marketing graphics. I may use AI assist as part of my own process, and creatives I hire to produce covers or graphics may choose to incorporate AI assist into their processes or workflows.

I do not believe we should condemn artists of any kind for using the tools they choose. One of my life philosophies is to support other artists. I don’t believe I should inject myself into their creative process or forbid tools from their workflow. Every artist is different, with different needs and different goals.

One of my goals is to combat the challenges created by my dyslexia. I don’t expect another artist to use AI Assist in the same way I do, because we are people with different needs. And that is great.

To help offset the carbon impact associated with my use of AI, I donate through GoldStandard.org to a carbon-reduction project. Ecological responsibility as the world changes is important to me.
